About the Seneca County Collaborative

The Seneca County Collaborative is a unified organization launching January 1, 2026, to serve as the central resource for business support, economic development, tourism promotion, and community revitalization in Seneca County, Ohio.

Following a joint decision by the executive boards of the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership and the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce in February 2025, this new structure was created to better serve the region’s businesses, communities, and residents. The announcement marked a commitment to aligning services and building a stronger, more strategic approach to advancing opportunity and prosperity in Seneca County.

Bringing together decades of experience and a shared vision for the future, the Collaborative creates a single, coordinated team that helps businesses grow, connects people to resources, and strengthens the appeal of the region as a place to live, work, and visit.

Our Purpose

The Collaborative was formed to provide a more strategic and streamlined approach to:

  • Supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs

  • Attracting and retaining employers and workforce talent

  • Leading downtown revitalization and infrastructure development

  • Promoting the region as a destination for visitors

  • Advocating for the business community and sharing its voice

  • Connecting organizations to resources at the local, regional, and state levels

The Seneca County Collaborative reflects a vision for a more connected and competitive region. By bringing together previously separate efforts under one team, it allows for more effective planning, stronger communication, and better results for businesses and residents alike.

Our Divisions

Destination Seneca County

The tourism division of the Collaborative, promoting the region as a vibrant place to visit, live, and explore.

Through partnerships, marketing, and storytelling, it highlights attractions and events that boost local businesses, increase visitor spending, and build community pride. These efforts make Seneca County a must-visit destination.

Seneca Regional Chamber & Development

Represents the business development and advocacy division of the Collaborative. It leads strategic programs, networking events, and policy engagement that help businesses succeed, strengthen the workforce, and attract new investment.

The division also connects members and investors to resources at every level and promotes long-term business success throughout Seneca County.

Downtown Tiffin

A nationally accredited Main Street program and the location-focused division of the Collaborative. Its mission is to revitalize the heart of the city through economic development, historic preservation, and place-based investment.

By supporting small businesses, hosting community events, and enhancing the historic charm of downtown, this division strengthens the district as a center for commerce, culture, and community connection.
